Synopsis
In 2008, Ecuador became the first country in the world to recognize the Rights of Nature in its Constitution. These protections grant ecosystems the legal right to exist, thrive, and regenerate their vital cycles. In Ecuador, nature was given the same legal standing as humans.
Today, those protections are under serious threat.
This film is a tribute to their lives, their resistance, and the land they gave everything to protect. It is a story of fierce love, of a country grappling with the future of its forests, and of a global fight for ecological justice.
